The room was new-fashioned and incredibly comfortable and included fridges, an oven, and kitchenware. It looked out to garden. The location was magnificent for Abingdon-on-Thames, near to Oxford. Btw, I was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from St Helen's Church...

The king room was clean and comfy, with a tv and electric kettle. The decor was stylish, giving a cozy vibe. The location was super close to the center, great for grabbing meals. Only downside was that there was no physical staff, but any questions were quickly addressed via phone or email.

The Abbey's decor is charming and elegant, easy walk for seniors. I especially appreciated the grand staircase and how the areas were so clean and tidy, perfect for a leisurely stay.

Temperature control in the room needs improvement.

The room was spacious and comfy, and I absolutely loved unwinding in the lovely garden and taking a dip in the pool. While it was great to have both a relaxing atmosphere and access to beautiful views, I did notice that the bathroom could use a bit of maintenance. I had a fantastic stay and I'd recommend bringing your own snacks, as the dining options were quite limited! 😊

The room was super spacious and comfy, we had a great sleep. The location is perfect, right near the abbey gardens and river. Check-in was easy peasy with that machine, no fuss at all. Very clean and stylish inside, loved the decor. Those fans they had in the room were a nice touch since it was pretty hot.

Only bummer was the heat, room got too hot at night. The shower was kinda small and hard to adjust without getting soaked.

Superb room, superb location, with the added convenience of a kitchenette to prepare meals and a wonderfully quiet atmosphere overlooking the gardens, making for a stylish and luxurious stay.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

Charming place with a workout!

We spent 6 nights here and loved the beautiful building. It was super clean, but man, the room was really tiny! Climbing 50 stairs to get to our room with all our bags was tough at our age. We enjoyed walking to town and grabbing some din at a nearby cafe. We'll remember the cozy vibe!

The abbey had a great location, super close to town! The self check-in machine made everything hassle-free. My superior king room was spacious, clean, and had new furniture, a nice tv, and a kettle for tea and coffee. Parking was easy and free too, a big plus!

The self check-in was straightforward, and having a kitchenette gave me the freedom to prepare my meals, a delightful option for someone looking for healthy vegetarian options. the room did get a bit warm at night, which made it somewhat uncomfortable for sleeping.

The twin room was super cute and had all the decor updates. The staff were friendly and tried to help, but sometimes hard to find. We loved the breakfast options, especially the fresh pastries! Just be ready for a bit of noise from the road outside.

The Abbey offers a tastefully restored historic atmosphere with convenient access to local sights. Though the self-check-in process felt impersonal, my stay was enjoyable. The bathroom had high standards but could benefit from maintenance. A few more comforts would enhance the experience.

The abbey was a good stay! My beautiful studio was lovely and comfortable, tastefully decorated with all the amenities, including a kitchen. It's located very close to abingdon school, made visiting easy. The staff were also quite great.
